6 days sea kayaking through the tropical islands from Hinchinbrook Island to Mission Beach in Far North Queensland. With sea turtles, dolphins, a reef shark, one surprise capsize and the best cold beer delivery of my life. Ever wondered what a multi day sea kayaking expedition is really like? Stunning islands, incredible wildlife, the best food and yes, some genuinely rough moments on the open ocean. From capsized kayaks in big swells (we had unseasonally rough weather) to glassy sheltered bays where sea turtles swim right past your paddle, this trip was one of the most memorable weeks of my life.
