All-purpose shears FACOM 980 & 980C

There are some company takeovers that go quite well, as was the case with FACOM. Following disastrous management, the managers are still on the run, and the company was absorbed by STANLEY, but only in body, not in spirit. Body because the company no longer exists legally, but not soul because STANLEY had the remarkable intelligence to make it the flagship of its catalog in view of its international reputation, the excellence and scope of its production (aeronautics/automotive/space/etc.), and the visceral and deserved attachment to the brand on the part of French DIY enthusiasts. Il y a des reprises d'entreprise qui se passent assez bien, c'est le cas de FACOM, ce fut le cas de FACOM qui, suite à une gestion calamiteuse, les responsables sont toujours en fuite, fut absorbée corps mais pas âme par STANLEY. Corps car l'entreprise n'existe plus juridiquement mais pas âme car STANLEY eut l'intelligence remarquable d'en faire le fleuron de son catalogue au regard de sa notoriété internationale, de l'excellence et l'étendue de sa production (aéronautique/ automobile/ spacial/ etc.), de l'attachement viscéral et mérité à la marque de la part des bricoleurs français.
