Eat Your Rage is, for me, a kind of release. The piece comes from a deepsadness at the anger, hostility, and division that surround us, both in the way people treat one another and in the way we respond to the world around us. We are often taught to hide our emotions and maintain a composed surface, as though anger and pain might disappear if left unspoken. This work is an attempt to transform those feelings into something honest and shared. In this sense, it connects with Mahler’s vision of nature, not as something purely peaceful, but as a space that reflects human vulnerability, longing, and unrest. Eat Your Rage
draws on that same tension between inner turmoil and the wider world,
searching for a way to turn pressure into reflection, release, and a more
compassionate kind of listening
