Mr. Speed, Fastest Up Everest - Sherpa

Kaji Sherpa holds the current speed climbing record on Mount Everest for the South Col Route, from basecamp to the summit. Known as a result as "Mr. Speed", Kaji is now a proud member of the Sherpa community in Queens, New York — he first worked as a mover when he came to America — and cares deeply about the transmission and survival of the Sherpa language and culture. Recorded in Sherpa, with English subtitles, as part of the Voices of the Himalayas project: http://elalliance.org/languages/himal...
