This is early and very rare Benny Goodman and his Orchestra. It's derived from the "Let's Dance" radio program that gave Goodman his first national exposure. To my knowledge, this recording has never been issued in any digital format. The only release I know of is on the Sunbeam LP "B.G. On The Air," SB-105, in 1971. This was transferred from my copy of the LP.
Discographical Details:
Benny Goodman (clarinet), Pee Wee Erwin, Jerry Neary, Ralph Muzillo (trumpet), Red Ballard, Jack Lacey (trombone), Toots Mondello, Hymie Schertzer (alto sax), Art Rollini, Dick Clark (tenor sax), Frank Froeba (piano), George Van Eps (guitar), Harry Goodman (bass), Gene Krupa (drums).
"Let's Dance" program, NBC radio network, February 23, 1935.
