Shallua teaches on what it truly means to trust God beyond the influence of public or popular opinion. Trust is a strong belief that someone is reliable, honest, and capable of acting in our best interest. It is possible to have faith without trust, but trust is faith in action. Faith produces trust, and trust strengthens faith. The body follows the eyes, so where we fix our attention determines the direction of our lives. Key Elements of Trust: 1. Reliability and Dependability Reliability is the ability to keep promises (2 Corinthians 1:20, Joshua 21:44–45, Numbers 23:19). God keeps His promises, often in ways we do not expect. We must ask God to help us align with His timing. People are not always dependable (Jeremiah 17:5), but God always fulfills what He has spoken. 2. Honesty Honesty is confidence that someone tells the truth and does not lie or deceive (Genesis 3:1–6). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If we believe in God, we have eternal life, and He does not lie (Titus 1:2, Psalm 119:160). The devil is the father of lies (John 8:44). We need a spirit of discernment, the ability to see beyond the surface and distinguish truth from lies (Proverbs 15:14). 3. Integrity Integrity means acting in an ethical and upright manner (Psalm 25:10, Malachi 3:6). People can change, but God does not change. God is faithful (2 Timothy 2:13, 1 Corinthians 1:9). 4. Competence Competence is the ability to do what is expected. God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere at the same time. He can do anything (Jeremiah 32:17, Ephesians 3:20). We should pray bold prayers because God is capable of doing the impossible. Everything belongs to Him (Deuteronomy 10:14). Even the angel Gabriel testified that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). 5. Vulnerability Vulnerability is the willingness to depend on someone despite the risks (Numbers 21:9). We can trust God even in risky or uncertain situations. God will never fail us (Esther 4:14–15, Psalm 56:3–4). When everything else is shaking, our trust in God remains an unshakable anchor. This message encourages believers to depend fully on God—His character, His truth, and His ability—no matter what society says or what circumstances look like.
