Rooted in the folk epic of the Silu pilgrimage (the holy journey to Gosaikunda), the tune is deeply intertwined with feelings of devotion, longing, and nostalgia. This cover is a humble tribute to the rich cultural heritage of Kirtipur (कीर्तिपुर) and is heavily inspired by the authentic preservation efforts of Tanani Dapha Khala. Dapha music is a classical community art form, historically played in temple squares and rest houses (patis) to bring people together, and we wanted to honor that tradition.
