NBC - Saturday Night Lineup - Network Promo Compilation - 1987-88 Season - Come Home to NBC

Here’s several promos for NBC’s Saturday Night lineup for the 1987-88 season. The lineup for almost the entire season consisted of The Facts of Life, 227, The Golden Girls, Amen and Hunter. J.J. Starbuck (which debuted also on Saturdays) replaced Hunter for a brief time on that night. NBC was the number-one network overall, and on Saturdays too. All of the sitcoms won their respective timeslots, making their whole lineup unbeatable. Eventually, that season was the last for The Facts of Life, ending its run after nine seasons (they initially were renewed for a tenth season, but some of the girls bowed out as they grown up), becoming at the time NBC’s longest-running sitcom, until it was surpassed by Cheers a couple years later.
