It’s time for the next Apriball in the crocheting every Poké Ball series. Introducing the Heavy Ball! This amigurumi/crochet pattern uses basic stitches and basic shapes so it’s perfect for the beginning crocheter. The pattern being on the easier side gives us the opportunity to hone in and practice our technique, so that we can crochet a super professional looking Heavy Ball. If you’d like to support me monetarily, the written version of this pattern is available on my Etsy CatztailDesign (linked below). Also, as an early bird treat, the written pattern will be on sale for 25% off until August 16, 2026. 🔊Announcement🔊 In the video between rounds 10 & 11 of the Body there is a Pokémon cry. I will send the first person to leave a comment correctly identifying the Pokémon a free copy of the written Pattern! Your hint is that it is a Steel type Pokémon. All instructions are in US terms. 🧶Materials🧶 3.00 mm Hook Darning Needle Polyfill Scissors/Snips Sewing Pins Stitch Markers Drops Paris - #09 Royal Blue Drops Paris - #17 Off White Yarnsmiths Cotton Aran- Black Yarnsmiths Cotton Aran- Platinum Grey 📑Stitch Guide📑 ch: chain st: stitch Jst: join slip stitch Inv-Jst: invisible slip stitch join FInv-Jst: full invisible slip stitch join sc: single crochet SPL-sc: split stitch single crochet BPsc: back post single crochet SPL-BPsc: split stitch back post single crochet inc: increase dec: decrease Mr: magic ring (n1, n2)xN: repeat what is inside the parentheses N number of times 🕒Timestamps🕒 00:00 Intro 00:22 House Keeping 01:01 Materials Body 02:40 Materials and Method Top Hemisphere 03:18 round 1 06:53 round 2 and “Pull Up” Technique 11:26 rounds 3-10 12:33 Joining Bottom Hemisphere 14:38 round 1 21:41 round 2 24:56 round 3 27:43 rounds 4-9 29:15 Stuffing 32:35 rounds 10-11 33:51 Final Stuffing 38:30 Closing the Body Button 44:47 Materials and Method Inner Portion 45:15 round 1 47:42 round 2 48:44 Joining Outer Portion 50:15 round 1 58:35 round 2 01:01:32 Joining 01:03:16 Pinning the Button 01:08:47 Sewing 01:16:24 Final Stitches and Burying the Tail Domes 01:23:06 Materials and Method Small Domes 01:23:28 round 1 01:24:19 Joining Large Domes 01:26:45 round 1 01:28:58 rounds 2-4 01:29:12 Joining Attaching the Domes 01:30:37 Placement 01:37:51 Pining the Small Dome 01:42:31 Sewing the Small Dome 01:50:08 Final Stitches and Burying the Tail 01:56:03 Instructions for the Other Small Dome 01:56:43 Pining the Large Domes and Sewing Instructions 02:03:40 Example of Pore Pin-Mapping 02:08:13 Stuffing 02:12:22 Final Stitching 02:17:47 Redoing My Stitching 02:26:28 Burying the Tail 02:28:04 Instructions for 2nd Dome 02:29:00 Stuffing 02:31:32 Final Stitches 02:38:08 Burying the Tail Discussion 02:40:13 New Button 02:41:14 Countering Stitch Drift, FInv-Jst 02:43:20 Outro ⭐Socials⭐ ▶️ Instagram: (  / catztail.design  ) ▶️ Ko-fi: (https://ko-fi.com/catztaildesign) ▶️ Etsy: (https://catztaildesign.etsy.com) ▶️ CashApp: $Catztaildesign 🎶Music🎶 Galar Mines - Pokemon Sword/Shield - Remix & Aivarcher (   • Galar Mines - Pokemon Sword/Shield - Remix  ) Twitter: @aivarcher Soundcloud: http://goo.gl/89SW2w 🖼️Art🖼️ Pikachu Pixel Animated Loop by Vanessa Shipe (   • Pikachu Pixel Animated Loop  ) 👾Attention👾 Feel free to sell anything you make with this pattern.
