KAVUMA: The Man Behind FIFA World Cup viral dance sensations 'Ghetto Kids'

This Is Kavuma and This Is Leadership. Kavuma is the founder and heart behind Uganda's ‪@TripletsGhettoKids‬ , the dance troupe whose joy and talent captured the world's attention. But long before the viral videos, his story began on the streets of Kampala. By the age of seven, he was living on the streets, and doing whatever it took to get by. It was a chance encounter on a football pitch, and one coach who saw something in him, that changed the course of his life. That day, Kavuma made himself a promise, that if he made it, he would do the same for others. ‘This Is Leadership’ is an initiative by Toy Green Films in collaboration with ‪@NomadMediaAE‬ and the Nomad Foundation.
