Durian ASMR: Machete, Shell, Spoon — A Family Farm in Vietnam (No Music, No Talking)

No talking. No music. Only the sounds of our yard in Dak Lak, Vietnam: the machete on the log, the shell giving way, the segments coming out, the broom, the freezer lid, the wheelbarrow, the spoon. After the buyer's truck took the harvest, my mom and I spent two days opening the durians we kept: the ones for the freezer, the ones for the dog, and the ones for us.
