What is this weird Stave Church? - VANLIFE NORWAY

This episode was filmed 20th September 2022. After two peaceful nights at our park up by the river it is time to move on. Our first stop today is the historic Heddal stave church, dating back to around 1200. It is soon time to get back on the road and we set off towards Rjukan, making our way over the mountain range. We find a perfect spot to pull in for lunch but do we have any food left? We make our way down into Rjukan through a series of hairpin bends and head straight for the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum at the hydroelectric plant. After refuelling and stocking up with food we find somewhere to spend the night and Carol cooks a chilli.
