She Asked for One Girl to Wrestle. For Four Years. | MEET CATIE

Catie was on her high school wrestling team for four years, and every single year she asked for the same thing: find one girl she could wrestle against. "I was like, just find one girl for me. And now we have a whole team wrestling." That's the sanctioning story in two sentences, told by a teenager who lived it. She also has opinions about watching film. She skips to the parts where she pins people. Her mom thinks she should watch the other parts. "Nah." Meet the Girls is an exclusive Allez! Sports profile series on the athletes and coaches at the centre of WrestleHer.
