Yarn giveaway: name a PEI Fibre Festival vendor in the comments to enter. Rules below.
We're back! Christopher and Jamie are home from the PEI Fibre Festival in Charlottetown, with stories about the people, the vendors, the treasures we brought home, and a yarn giveaway at the end.
It had been far too long since we sat down in front of the camera. The festival reminded us why we love this community: volunteers who know you by name, organizers who answer a text after hours, old friends saying "welcome back", and new friends who flew in just to say hello. We share the vendors who surprised us (Wensleydale and Jacob in one booth, recycled wool, antler buttons), the yarn we dyed for the festival, a few souvenirs from the long drive up the Gaspé coast, and how our knitting mojo came back.
YARN GIVEAWAY RULES
Enter: comment here naming at least one PEI Fibre Festival vendor (from this video or peifibrefestival.com/marketplace). Close spelling is fine. One entry per person.
Free, no purchase necessary. No need to like or subscribe.
Deadline: Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
Prize: two skeins of the DK Polwarth we dyed to look like the earth in PEI, for one winner (approx. retail value $72 CAD), mailed at our cost.
Open to legal residents of Canada, the 50 US states and DC, 18+ and of the age of majority where they live; not our household. Void where prohibited.
Draw: at random on our next episode. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries. The person drawn must message us on Instagram or at cabinboyknits.com/pages/contact within 7 days of our reply and correctly answer a timed math skill-testing question (one try, no help), or we draw again.
Privacy: entering lets us list your YouTube name and comment for the draw and name the winner on our next episode. Winner details are used only for eligibility and mailing, then deleted 90 days after delivery.
Run by Cabin Boy Knits, Stirling, Ontario. Not sponsored, endorsed or run by YouTube, Google, the festival or its vendors; entrants release YouTube and Google from any liability related to this giveaway.
