LEAD ME HOME | A Song of Peace, Inspired by Psalm 23

It’s a quarter past three, the screen keeps saying “recalculating,” and the only thing you know is that you feel lost. This song, inspired by Psalm 23, is for that road: the ancient poem of a shepherd who leads, who walks ahead, and who never lets the lost one stay lost. This original acoustic folk song, with the warmth of Christian folk, opens on a lone felt piano, then lets a fingerpicked guitar, a low cello and soft brushed percussion arrive one by one, like footsteps on stone. A weathered, gravelly baritone keeps the verses close and conversational, then opens up in the chorus with a gentle harmony beside it. The mood is homesick-tender and steady, a quiet hymn for the long drive home. The lyrics are our own paraphrase of Psalm 23, reimagined for today: a wrong turn, a dark highway, a staff tapping on the stones ahead, a light left on at the end of the road. They are not a quotation of any single translation. If you feel lost tonight, or you’re simply looking for a steady voice to travel with, whether you come from a lifetime of faith or you’re only beginning to search, this one is for you. ■ Music made with Suno AI (Pro plan) — original track, commercially licensed. ■ Visuals: Google Flow animation — original artwork. ■ May these still waters find you.
