This is the 300 Level Production of the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Abuja, featuring the stage play Orisa Ibeji by Ahmed Yerima. The play explores the richness of African traditional beliefs, family ties, and the cultural significance of the Ibeji (twins) in Yoruba cosmology. Through drama, dance, and music, it reflects on spirituality, identity, and the conflicts between tradition and modernity. The production is guided by the expertise of our dedicated course lecturer Mrs. Esther Onwuka, whose mentorship has shaped the creative process. The directorial vision is brought to life by Atarase Olufemi Emmanuel (Director) with the support of Abu Gloria (Assistant Director). The choreography, led by Ogbuji David Chimazuru, adds rhythm, movement, and cultural depth to the performance. This staging of Orisa Ibeji not only serves as an academic exercise but also as an opportunity to showcase the artistic talents, collaborative spirit, and cultural expressions of the 300-level Theatre Arts students. It is a celebration of storytelling, heritage, and performance.
