Early Signs of Autumn | Harvesting Potatoes, Carrots & Living with Cats and Goats

Hello friends 🌾 In today’s video, I’ll show you another peaceful day on our small farm in the Ternopil region. There’s no time to sleep in — I have a full day planned! First, I sort and bag the potatoes I dug up yesterday. Then it’s time to burn the dry tops and move on to other chores. Of course, I can’t do anything on an empty stomach. I make myself a simple breakfast — golden fried toasts with pâté and soft dumplings — while my cats watch from every corner of the kitchen. After breakfast, it’s laundry time. I hang clothes outside in the wind, getting ready for the cold season ahead. Even grandma’s vintage scarves get a fresh wash. Later I head back to the garden to dig up carrots — I clean and sort them right in the soil and carry the harvest to the cellar for winter storage. As always, my dogs and goats keep me company around the yard. Even though the sun doesn’t warm like before, we still spend most of the day outside.
