The accents are fast, the song is catchy, and the ending may blow your mind. Hopefully you will see this video in the same light I do, and you can enjoy my first real RSMV in over ten months. The song Wolves At The Door by Senses Fail can be catagorized as a subgenre of Hard Rock. The song is not fully into the metal catagory, but it is close, so I will catagorize it on the harder side of Hard Rock. ..::About the Making of This Video::.. This video was started on Tuesday August 18th, 2009. That was when I first went to Shilo Village and waited over an hour to get 6 people with prayer capes for the "And last night I found heaven!!" line. Since the video was completed on Sunday, March 27th, 2010, the elapsed time from beginning to completion was 222 days. Now this was not exactly the only video that I worked on during this time, in fact I had probably started 10 different songs before even coming close to finishing this. Only recently, when going through my old unfinished vids did I have the spark of inspiration to finish the entire video for everyone to see. Not only that, but the video was not completed in any certain order. If you can tell, my computer has gotten better in the video, and most of the scenes were recorded in Anti Alias x4, Wheras the older ones were not. So I don't know exactly how this will affect the video as a whole in your eyes, but hopefully you see the Anti Alias that is in there as a treat. I'm not entirely sure about everyone else, but alot of the extra time I spent in vegas was spent watching clips over and over again, changing things slightly every now and then. After I started the video back up again, I barely changed anything from the first clips that I had. So maybe to you, The first verse looks dull, well thats why. ..::Credits::.. There's actually 3 easter eggs in this video, the main one as stated above, and two other intentional side. I used sony vegas 7.0 to edit, and Camtasia 6 to record. This video took me the longest of all of my videos to complete. This video has more accents than any of my other videos. This video has more raw files than any of my other videos. This video has more video tracks than any of my other videos. My Dad isn't in this video. Yes.. I will have a chipmunk version, eventually. Most used effects in the video: Levels, Radial Blur, Film effects. No transitions were used in this video (Besides fades), all the transitions in the vid we're created by a combination of effects. The abbreviation I've used for this song for the last few months is WATD. I still refer to it as the WATD RSMV. I did not use any additional plug-ins to create this video. The person that shows up for the most time in the video is Llamaboy87, congradulations.
