Muse Fan Reacts to 16-Year-Old Nene Royal’s Hysteria

16-year-old Thai guitarist Nene Royal takes on Muse’s Hysteria on America’s Got Talent — and as a Muse fan of more than 20 years, I had to check this out! Hysteria is famous for that incredible Chris Wolstenholme bassline, so I was fascinated to see what Nene would do with it on guitar. Then she starts playing the riff AND singing over it, throws in some lovely guitar details and even adds her own variation to the vocal melody. There’s a lot I really liked here — although there is one part of the performance I’d probably have done differently. What did you think of Nene Royal’s version of Muse - Hysteria?
