Resilience isn’t measured by whether a child has meltdowns, makes mistakes, or loses control during an overwhelming moment. It’s built in what happens afterward. In this video, we explore “the repair road”- the process of recovering, reconnecting, taking responsibility, and figuring out what to try next. We discuss how adults can help children move through difficult moments without shame while still maintaining boundaries and accountability. Repair teaches children that one hard moment doesn’t define them or end a relationship.
