You’ve probably seen these mini electronic bike pumps all over your feed—but are they actually worth the hype, or just another over-sponsored gimmick? In this video, I break down the real-world pros and cons of mini electric inflators. To be completely clear: this video is NOT sponsored. While Cycplus sent me their mini pump to test in the past, I bought the Trek Air Rush Elite out of my own pocket. If you are thinking about ditching your hand pump or CO2 cartridges, there are a few major drawbacks you need to know first—including range anxiety, noise levels that could wake your neighbours on an early morning ride, and a hidden heat risk that can literally melt TPU tube stems. But despite those flaws, I am a massive fanboy. I’ll share the 4 reasons why I never go cycling without the Trek Air Rush in my back pocket, and how it completely changes the game for quick tire pressure adjustments at group rides or tire testing days. Are you using an electronic pump yet, or sticking to CO2? Let me know your preferred setup in the comments below! 🚴‍♂️ Enjoy the thrill of your rides! ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 - Is this another sponsored video?
