Growing up, adulthood looked like this mysterious finish line where everyone suddenly had money figured out, knew what they were doing, and could finally make their own rules. Turns out, that was a little optimistic. In this episode of Peripheral Rewind, we talk about the first things that made us feel grown up, the stuff we thought adults had figured out, the advice we believed when we were younger, and the lessons we had to learn the hard way. We also get into the freedoms we finally got as we got older, the parts of adulthood that actually are pretty great, and the things we miss about being young... along with the things we absolutely do not.
