City of Ryde - SL061 Garbage - MJ GenV

In this video we see truck SL061 collecting red lidded garbage on a sunny winter Monday Morning in the suburbs of Putney, Putney Point and Ryde in the collection zones of 1-2. This truck has just started its 2nd and last load for the day at 9:30am in the morning. I got this footage last Monday and I have plenty more footage of this truck to come in the future and I do plan to get more footage of this truck. This truck is very different to the other Ryde trucks in the fleet it is a Iveco MJ GenV purchased in 2008 the reason why that bought this truck because they needed an extra truck on recycling as the 4 trucks could not handle getting three loads of recycling on so they purchased this truck to help out on the recycle week. Soon after they purchased this mean green machine instead of using it on recycle they moved it to garbage and replaced it with SL024 and now this truck is permanently on garbage runs 5 days a week, the reason why it switched from garbage to recycling is because it did not handle recycling all too well. Also note this truck has a very speedy RotoGrab. This truck sometimes has mechanical problems but lately has been working very well, also this truck has a slower paddle compactor compared with the other Ryde MJ trucks. This is one of my fav trucks in the Ryde fleet because it is unique, fast and has a great roar to it. Thanks to the awesome driver for letting me film and also I know the driver will enjoy this video of him in action operating his speedy truck around the streets of Ryde. Plenty more footage of this truck to come in the future and Thanks for Watching and remember to like, fav and sub.
