EA Sports NHL '96 - All-star Season 1 Nords Game 63 | Quebec Rules in the Nation's Capital

The Nordiques travelled to Ottawa for Game 63 to play the Senators for the third time this season. Ottawa was looking to defend their turf after 2 shut-out losses to Quebec so far. The 1st period was fairly tight with the shots almost even at QUE 13 and OTT 10. The lone goal came on the powerplay for the Nordiques with Clark going top-glove on a pass from Sakic. Kovalenko scored on the powerplay for the only goal in the 2nd period when Beaupre bobbled his shot. The Nordiques widened the shot gap to QUE 36 and OTT 16. Sakic scored on the first shot of the 3rd period and Kovalenko netted his second goal of the game on the shot after that to make the score 4-0 for Quebec. That chased Beaupre from the net to be replaced by Madeley. Wendel Clark welcomed Madeley after 6 shots and then again after 4 more to make the final score 6-0 for the Nordiques. Thibault stopped all 22 of Ottawa's shots for another shut-out. Enjoy!
