LUNCH & LEARN - Compassionate Leadership: Not just a nice-to-have

Brought to you by CLIC in collaboration with North Cumbria Knowledge and Library Service, this Lunch & Learn session on 17 March 2023 saw Karen Kirk (Programme Lead, CLIC) deliver a presentation on 'Compassionate leadership: Not just a nice-to-have'. There is clear evidence that compassionate leadership results in more engaged and motivated staff with high levels of wellbeing, which in turn results in high-quality care (West, 2021). This session explored why compassionate leadership is so important in health and care, and what you can do to help create it.
