Could you survive Deadzone: Rogue’s Ultra Nightmare solo? The first run reaches Zone 4 before going down; a second attempt switches to melee and hits a nasty wall. After a long stretch of co-op attempts with a mate, I take on the special-encounter version of Ultra Nightmare alone. The first run leans on lightning and plasma; the second tries to force a melee build through rooms that punish getting too close. For transparency: my tech total was intentionally modified to 945,000 to get past the late-game tech grind. That gives me extra reroll freedom, so bear that in mind when judging the builds.
