Can you become a saint? Or is holiness only for extraordinary people? This All Saints’ Day, Jesus gives us a surprising answer. Holiness is not reserved for a few special people. It is a call for every one of us! In this Catholic Sunday homily, Fr. Rinoj James CMI reflects on the Beatitudes and explains how we can become saints in our everyday lives. Through the words of Jesus, we discover that true holiness is found in a merciful heart, a forgiving spirit, a commitment to peace, and faithfulness to God even in times of suffering. The saints were not all born perfect. They learned to love God and others, to rise after their failures, and to remain faithful to Christ. Their example reminds us that we, too, are called to holiness. 📖 Sunday Bible Readings — All Saints’ Day, 1 November 2026 First Reading: Revelation 7:2–4, 9–14 Second Reading: 1 John 3:1–3 Gospel: Matthew 5:1–12 Your spiritual challenge this week: Choose one Beatitude and practise it intentionally. Forgive someone, show mercy to a person in need, make peace in your family, or stand for what is right with a pure heart. 🙏 Let us pray: Lord Jesus, thank You for calling us to be Your children and for showing us the path to holiness. Give us the courage to live the Beatitudes in our daily lives. Help us love when it is difficult, forgive when we are hurt, and remain faithful when life is challenging. May we follow the example of the saints and one day share in Your heavenly kingdom. Amen. If this reflection touches your heart, please LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE to the channel Fr.
