"Wildcat Victory" | Kansas State University's Primary Fight Song

It's time to bring in another college football season. Playing against their Big 12 rival, the Kansas State Wildcats will be battling against the Iowa State Cyclones in the 2025 Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin. To celebrate the first game of the 2025-26 college football season, here is the Kansas State University Fight Song! Written in 1927 by Men's Glee Club student director Harry E. Erickson, this is "Wildcat Victory". A few months later, just before the football season that same year, the student body was asked to memorize the song. The lyrics were different, as the song was written back when Kansas State was called "Kansas State Agricultural College". Sometime after 1931, when the school was renamed to the Kansas State College of Agriculture and Applied Science, the song's lyrics were modified over the years. This song actually had a first verse, which is not sung often, and I believe it is not an official verse because of it. I will make another version with the first verse and old lyrics when I can. Anywho, without further ado, hope you enjoy and Go Wildcats! ~ LYRICS: Fight, you K-State Wildcats For alma mater fight, fight, fight! Glory in the combat For the Purple and the White, Faithful to our colors, We shall ever be, Fighting ever fighting for a Wildcat Victory!
