BUDDHA KARMAPA | A Song of Devotion 🖤

A contemporary musical offering to the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, based on the beautiful Guru Yoga composed by Tenga Rinpoche. In a world that rewards self-promotion, devotion can be a rebellious act. We are encouraged to build our personal brands, protect our image, and make ourselves the centre of every story. To bow before wisdom, to acknowledge that we need guidance, to trust someone without making that trust another statement about ourselves—these gestures challenge the habits our world keeps teaching us. Devotion leaves us exposed. There is no need to hide behind, no detached sophistication to soften the tenderness of calling out to our teacher. This song comes from that place. "Buddha Karmapa" is a musical adaptation that leads us through impermanence, through appearances that are vivid yet empty, through this life and whatever comes next. May our hearts turn toward the Dharma. May we practise while there is still time. May we never be separated from the wisdom and compassion of the Guru. May this song carry a prayer shared by Karma Kagyu devotees around the world: may the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa return to his seat at Rumtek, and may we gather there to receive his teachings and blessings. Karmapa Tchenno! 🖤🙏 #BuddhaKarmapa #Karmapa #GuruYoga #Devotion #BuddhistMusic
