Artist Olga Abramova. Flowers and landscapes in pastel

Olga Abramova was born in Moscow in 1976. Olga made her choice of future profession very early - at the age of 11. It was then that she had to decide whether to become a professional athlete or, after all, an artist. She chose art without hesitation, because her great-grandfather predicted this path for her, and her father enjoyed painting portraits and posters in oil. Then there was the Moscow Art School of Applied Arts (MHUPI), where Olga received a specialty as a fabric artist, and the art and graphic department at the Moscow State Open Pedagogical University (MOPU). Her love affair with pastel began there, when Olga first mixed pastel with watercolor, and she really liked this effect. She defended her diploma in pastel painting. Olga constantly experiments, combining pastel with other materials, for example, charcoal or acrylic. This allows her to place accents more accurately and create the right mood. Olga's paintings are dynamic, filled with light, life and its variability. The artist uses calm, soft, warm colors. That is why her works are filled with tenderness and tranquility. Olga is a very popular artist. Every year she has dozens of exhibitions in our country, Europe, China, Taiwan. Her works are not only in private collections, but also in museums in Russia and China. In addition, Olga is one of the founders and president of the National Union of Pastel Artists and a member of the International Association of Pastel Communities, is a member of the International Art Fund (IAF), pastel communities of France, Turkey, USA, Italy.
