Heritage coordinator Kristof Reulens about De Wijers

Kristof Reulens is heritage coordinator for the City of Genk and curator of the Emile Van Dooren Museum. For him personally, too, De Wijers is a place of inspiration, reflection and slowing down. Kristof takes us back to 1840, when De Wijers became an important source of inspiration for landscape painters such as Emile Van Dooren. He also shows how the landscape continues to play an important role in art today.
