Day 3 of my Okinawa trip.
I start up north at Nakijin Castle, one of the old Ryukyu Kingdom gusuku sites and former capital of the Hokuzan Kingdom. Then a couple of hours at Churaumi Aquarium — home to the 2nd largest aquarium tank on Earth. From there, I cross Kouri Bridge onto Kouri Island, where I spent some time on the beach and in the water. I close out the day and give some love to Okinawa's incredibly well-run public beach system.
