Day 3 of my Okinawa trip. I start up north at Nakijin Castle, one of the old Ryukyu Kingdom gusuku sites and former capital of the Hokuzan Kingdom. Then a couple of hours at Churaumi Aquarium — home to the 2nd largest aquarium tank on Earth. From there, I cross Kouri Bridge onto Kouri Island, where I spent some time on the beach and in the water. I close out the day and give some love to Okinawa's incredibly well-run public beach system. 📍 Locations featured: Nakijin Castle, Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Bridge, Kouri Island ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:06 Today's Plan 00:24 Nakijin Castle 03:48 Churaumi Aquarium 08:04 Kouri Bridge Drive 10:19 Trip wrap-up 11:04 Next Stop: Busan If you're planning your own Okinawa trip, drop a comment — happy to help with the itinerary!
