God, You Lead My Way

He trusted You and walked alone. You gave him hope, You gave him faith, You showed him there was more to see. When Moses stood beside the sea, He could not see what was to be. But You made a way where there was none, And led Your people toward the sun. When David faced the giant there, He knew that You were always near. He didn’t fight with strength alone, He trusted You and stood strong. When Daniel prayed through every night, He held on to Your loving light. Even when the world seemed dark, Your faithful love became his spark. So when I face my mountains high, I’ll lift my hands and look to the sky. I may not know what lies ahead, But I will trust the words You’ve said. You are my hope, You are my light, You stay beside me day and night. Through every road, through every sea, I know, my God, You’re leading me. And when tomorrow comes my way, I’ll walk with You through every day. My story is still being written, With You, my heart will never fear
