Known for their elaborate stage shows, face paint, and flamboyant costumes, KISS became one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Their music blends hard rock and heavy metal with anthemic choruses, leading to massive hits like Rock and Roll All Nite, Detroit Rock City, and I Was Made for Lovin’ You. Throughout their career, KISS has sold over 100 million records worldwide and built a devoted fanbase, known as the “KISS Army.” The band’s lineup changed over the years, with Frehley and Criss departing and later being replaced by musicians such as Eric Carr, Vinnie Vincent, Bruce Kulick, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer. Despite lineup changes, Stanley and Simmons remained the core members. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, and their farewell tour, End of the Road, concluded in 2023. Beyond music, KISS has become a cultural phenomenon, expanding into movies, merchandise, and even comic books. Their legacy endures as one of the most iconic and theatrical acts in rock history.
