[2016] Peggy Gou - Art Of War (Part II) EP

Rekids’ latest signing Peggy Gou serves up two subterranean slices of quality with L.I.E.S. producer Terekke providing a remix. The South Korean artist, who was raised in the UK and now resides in Berlin, kick started 2016 for Rekids with her ‘Art Of War’ release. She now returns to Radio Slave’s imprint with a sequel. ‘Jen High’ boasts a heady bassline whilst quivering synths make way for serene key melodies. ‘When Round, They Go’ then deploys robust kicks as ebbing pads join acid licks, before Terekke provides a floating rendition comprised of soaring atmospherics and jazzy aesthetics.
