Exploring Lafayette's House |1820s Drama Episode #13|

After getting word that their landlord is back in town Ron & Justine head over to discuses how the town has been taken over by river rats in his absence. Realizing that the mythical Blackbeard's treasure may very well be real, or at least that the pirates won't leave them alone till they find proof of it, they then proceed to snoop around the late Lafayette's house for clues. Justine then daydreams about her life as a wealthy lady. Justine used to work as a maid at the Benjamin Stephenson House in order to earn her keep after getting kicked out of a convent where she was placed by her mother. However, the Stephenson's soon fell into debt and could no longer afford to keep her. Thankfully Ron came to the rescue after falling in love with Justine. The two lovebirds moved off to the old town of Ste Genevieve Missouri. Too bad that the town, being on the Mississippi River, has a reputation for being a hotspot for thieves and river rats (river pirates) which they've learned all too well is a real problem.
