Railfanning Claremont - 6/16/15

In my attempts to railfan at all the stations along the San Bernardino Line, I decided to check out the Claremont Station. I mainly railfanned the evening commuter "rush" along with the BNSF Pasadena Local as well. All in all, the station is quite nice with its well preserved historical depot and the crossing that is situated at the middle of the platforms with the classic bells. It's also interesting to see all the commuters walk alongside the train as it departs and their reactions to the P2 horns ! Train 1 : Metrolink #320 with F59PHI #876 & CabCar #641. Train 2 : Metrolink #384 with F59PH #851 & CabCar #650. This is the only express round trip train that runs on weekdays. Train 3 : Metrolink #322 with MP36PH-3C #893 & CabCar #661. Notice the close call with the vehicle that ran the crossing. Train 4 : Metrolink #324 with F59PHI #887 & CabCar #647. Train 5 : Metrolink #333 with CabCar #694 & F59PHI #875. This train met up with Metrolink #324 just east of the station along with a friendly conductor as well. Train 6 : Metrolink #326 MP36PH-3C #891 & CabCar #669. Train 7 : Metrolink #328 with F59PHI #885 & CabCar #680. Train 8 : Metrolink #330 with F59PH #862 & CabCar #686. This train meets up with Metrolink #335 as it departs for San Bernardino. Train 9 : Metrolink #335 with CabCar #677 & F59PH #869. Nice two blasts of the horn and echo for departure ! Train 10 : BNSF L-LACKAI1-16I (Pasadena Local) with GP60M #119 & #108. This train waited for Metrolink #335 to pass before it entered the main. Nice engineer on #119. Thanks for Watching !
