There seems to be a strong and vibrant bond between Punch and Shikano. Since Shikano is still young, he also finds it hard to hold back from showing his affection for Punch. And as if by twist of fate, whenever Punch runs into trouble, Shikano is always the one there for him. As a result, Punch has grown highly dependent on and deeply attached to Shikano. Little Punch feels completely at ease throwing minor tantrums, being intensely clingy, and sticking to Shikano like glue. On April 3, 2026, after Shikano took a day off, it seemed like Punch missed him terribly. Even though Punch had been playing happily all day, the moment he saw Shikano, he rushed over to cuddle, being incredibly affectionate. This time, the little one didn't even care about his favorite kibble, focusing solely on hugging Shikano as if to make up for all the longing. During lunchtime, he didn't hop down even once to eat, firmly insisting on clinging to Shikano's back. When Shikano touched him to remind him to get down, he threw a fit and cried out loud, throwing a tantrum and scrambling all over Shikano for a while, as if to say, "I'm really mad now! I'm not getting down." By the afternoon, despite being offered his favorite treats of apple and sweet potato, he only hopped down for a split second before wrapping himself tightly around Shikano's neck again. It's clear to see that Punch feels extremely comfortable expressing his emotions around Shikano. What a truly adorable day for the "father and son."
