As Isringhausen gets off to a shaky start allowing a couple runs in the first inning a RBI single from Padres 1B Scott Livingstone and a wild pitch from Isringhausen scoring Gwynn from 3rd, but manages to compose himself and settle down as he keeps the Padres scoreless, allowing only one hit through till the fifth inning. Mets Home runs from Rico Brogna, his 15th of the '95 season in the 2nd inning and Carl Everett hits his 10th in the 5th inning both HRs given up by Wille Blair who is relieved by Dustin Hermanson to end the 5th as the Mets put up 6 runs in the inning and smooth sailing for Jason Isringhausen winning his 4th game of season (4-2). Dallas Green takes out Isringhausen in the 7th Inning and replaced by Blas Minor who earns his 1st save of the season. Willie Blair gets the loss his 3rd for '95 (6-3).
