Communio 영성체송 Lux aeterna 영원한 빛 1791년, 모차르트는 신원을 밝히지 않은 의뢰인으로부터 레퀴엠 작곡을 의뢰받았습니다. 병으로 쇠약해진 그는 자신의 마지막 작품이 될 것이라는 예감을 안고 작곡에 몰두했지만, 끝내 완성하지 못한 채 35세의 나이로 세상을 떠났습니다. 이후 미완성 악보는 제자 프란츠 자베르 쥐스마이어가 완성했으며, 오늘날 가장 널리 연주되는 버전 역시 이 쥐스마이어 완성본입니다. 레퀴엠은 '영원한 안식을 주소서'라는 뜻의 라틴어에서 유래한 가톨릭 장례 미사곡입니다. 모차르트의 레퀴엠은 죽음에 대한 두려움과 인간의 간절한 기도, 그리고 영원한 평화를 향한 희망을 장엄하고도 깊이 있는 음악으로 담아낸 걸작입니다. 특히 Lacrimosa를 비롯한 아름다운 선율은 오늘날까지도 많은 이들에게 깊은 울림과 위로를 전하고 있습니다. In the summer of 1791, Mozart received a commission to compose a Requiem from a mysterious, anonymous patron. Already weakened by illness, he devoted himself to the work with the unsettling feeling that he was writing his own funeral music. He passed away at the age of 35 before completing the score, which was later finished by his student, Franz Xaver Süssmayr. The version performed today is Süssmayr’s completion, the edition most frequently heard around the world. A Requiem is the Mass for the Dead in the Catholic tradition, named after the Latin word Requiem, meaning “rest.” Mozart’s Requiem is a timeless masterpiece that expresses fear, prayer, and the hope of eternal peace with profound beauty and spiritual depth.
