#bootleg BpM: 140 I know, it's generic and probably not unique. But I tried Vital (VST - Wavetable Synth) again and couldn't resist to work on that older project again. Tech Vital sounds a lot different than Serum. I ditched the Chorus Effect in Serum for good. It's not useless, I just don't use it. In Vital, with given setup, it smears and the result is what you want when you're looking for less saw sounds in combination with formant and harmonic or inharmonic stretch. The multibandcomp is almost crap. Attack and Release Buttons count in %, not in ms. The Point Cycle Option for LFO looping is unique. Love that. If the choice would be "Serum & Vital, choose one" the answer is "yes". They are both unique. It's harder to create smeary reeses in serum and probably harder to create deep saw-reeses in vital (I could be wrong - didn't try hard enough to go there)
