🔴 BREAKING NEWS Shariff Aguak Mayor survives ambush this morning The Mayor of Shariff Aguak, Hon. Datu Akmad “Mitra” Ampatuan, survived an ambush after the incident that occurred this morning in Barangay Poblacion, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur. According to initial information, the mayor was riding in his vehicle when the ambush occurred. Two of his escorts were reported injured and were immediately given first aid. Police and other security forces immediately responded to the scene of the incident. The video also shows the presence of Vice Mayor Hon. Muhammad “Datu Openg” Ampatuan at the scene of the incident. Currently, a battle tank of the 90th Infantry Battalion is stationed to strengthen security in the area.
