In this vlog, I take you behind the scenes of 3 days spent working with conservationists, researchers, government representatives, and other stakeholders to strengthen conservation efforts for Zimbabwe’s cranes and Secretarybirds. The workshop brought together different stakeholders to discuss the key threats facing these incredible birds and develop practical actions that can help improve their conservation across Zimbabwe. I also share a little of what goes on behind the scenes during conservation planning meetings, including some of the discussions and activities from the workshop. Of course, I couldn’t leave you without showing you the beautiful Bronte Garden Hotel gardens🌿. I’ve also included snippets of Harare traffic on the way to and from the workshop, so you can experience a little of my day with me.
