Indy 500 (インディ500) is a 1995 racing game developed by Sega AM1 for the Model 2 arcade board. It features the actual Indianapolis Motor Speedway along with two fictitious tracks: Highland Raceway and Bay Side Street. The game also makes use of real world racing mechanics like drafting and tire wear. Despite representing another strong entry into a line of great Sega open-wheel racers, Indy never saw the same level of success as its predecessors.
