Organic Soybean Harvest Recap 2026

A compilation of six short clips made over a few days. Results were a little below normal; over all the acres the average was 36 bushels/acre. That said, the fact that it was so dry for almost 2 months during the main growing season makes this a great result. I was expecting the worse and am happy that it ended up as it did. Average test weight was 58 lbs/bushel and the moisture was 12%. These were Blue River 12A2 bought from Albert Lea Seed, finished planting on June 3rd. 170,000 seeds per acre, 1.5" deep, on 30" rows. They have a relative maturity of 1.2.
