Last train gone, I'll walk instead | Last Train Gone - retrokid

For everyone who missed the last train and decided to walk. Platform four and the board goes black. I could call a cab. I just sit here like you'll come again. You used to sleep on my shoulder here. Twenty minutes felt like a year. Track 4 of Sodium Summer — one walk home, from the last summer sunset to the porch light. ─ retrokid - Last Train Gone Music & Visual by retrokid ─ [Lyrics] Platform four and the board goes black The last one left without looking back I could call a cab, I could call a friend I just sit here like you'll come again Vending machine hums a song I know Moths in the light putting on a show You used to sleep on my shoulder here Twenty minutes felt like a year Last train gone And I'm still here Last train gone Nowhere near Every light turned down Every word you said Last train gone I'll walk instead Ticket in my pocket for a day that's done Punched in the corner by a summer sun Maybe it's better that I go on foot Slow enough to see what I overlooked Last train gone And I'm still here Last train gone Nowhere near Every light turned down Every word you said Last train gone I'll walk instead I'll walk instead ─ #indierock #latenight #heartbreak #retrokid
