Ep. 209 | October From Hell: Biggest Questions for Virginia After Demolition at Wake Forest

After Wake Forest demolished Virginia on Halloween, Preston is joined by David Teel from The Virginian-Pilot to evaluate the problems facing Tony Elliott, the October From Hell and the biggest questions to ponder heading into the bye week. First, Preston and David examine the largest loss in Elliott's five seasons at Virginia and what it says about the current state of both Wake Forest and UVA. Then they evaluate the quarterback position, statistically the worst defensive game during the Elliott era and special teams miscues. Later Preston and David zoom out and look at a 1-4 October for the Cavaliers and the outlook for November. Then Preston and David discuss some of the biggest questions heading into the bye week: will there be significant changes, Tony Elliott's contract extension and is the seat starting to warm in Charlottesville despite last year's 11-win success? Finally, Preston and David preview a busy opening week for UVA basketball with an intriguing matchup with Arkansas, players they are fascinated to see and what a good outcome is in the non-conference.
