NEW BUS! SF MUNI 2023 Nova Bus LFSe+ #5012 on 44 O'Shaughnessy

Agency: SF MUNI Bus: #5012 Model: 2023 Nova Bus LFSe+ Route: 44 O'Shaughnessy to the Bayview District From: O'Shaughnessy & Portola To: Silver & San Bruno The third Muni Nova Battery Electric Bus has entered into service, 5012! 5011 and 5012 Nova Buses has been on property for a few months now and was delivered this year, and unexpectedly 5012 was put into service already on the 44 on 10/23/24, four days after 5011 was put into service. If you live in the East coast, you see bunch of Nova Buses, but on the west coast including SF, it is rare to see Nova Buses, as we are dominated by mainly New Flyer and Gillig buses. I caught 5012 on its first day of service on the 44 and rode it from Forest Hill Station to Silver and San Bruno The bus ran really quick, was an empty bus at the beginning and a slightly small crowded at Glen Park BART and Mission St This unit has a slightly lower pitch turn signal, and currently has extremely loud route announcements! Seating layout is the same as 5010 & 5011. This was the third time I rode a Nova Bus on the 44, but the first time going towards the Bayview District.
