Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve - Mission 29 (Elite / First Run)

We make a pit stop at Snider's Top Base where Pike gives us a rundown of the situation, Spear strikes are destroying Enso facilities as an attempt to wipe their involvement in the war off the map. And they have their Special Zone in Theve, where Moon 11 is headed, only Joker Flight has a shot at stopping whatever she's trying to do! Time to gear up for a dogfight, in my case I had to take my signature plane for it, naturally! Tewy's plan is revealed as we get a visual on her, she's trying to land a Spear strike on the Land Battleship to get its nuclear reactor to explode and irradiating all of Theve as a definite evidence of Enso's involvement. But this sacrifice is way too much to accept, and thus she has to be stopped! Her UAVs cover her with TLS and she fires QAAMs at you, occasionally creating distance for a railgun shot. Ultimately there's definitely a certain level of plot armor involved given how much punishment she can take, but at least your missiles can hit. Once she's down, however, the ADF-11F's lineage of her plane shows as she separates the nose unit of her plane and you need to take it out along with the laser designator in an Assault Horizon moment! With that, the Spear annihilates the Enso Special Zone, but at least Theve itself remains safe. Only one proof of Enso's machinations remains, and it's in D.D.'s hands, putting the Endurance under threat...
