Push Off From the Shore of Doubt · deep dub techno for getting started

A slow, rocking groove at 118 beats a minute, with a deep bass loop in a dark minor key that turns every two bars. Soft electric piano chords land once every four bars and wash out into long echoes. Wooden percussion and a dry shaker keep the pulse while water laps under the floor, ropes creak and something knocks gently against wood now and then. A cello drone hums far behind, and in the last quarter a distant motor starts up and settles into a low hum in the same key. Music for thinking, drawing and building.
